Full Journal pdf2004-05-10 House Journal Page 4175 SB 385 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the May 9, 2004, calendar (page 4078), was read the third time: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 385(RLS) am H "An Act relating to homeland security, to civil defense, to emergencies and to disasters, including disasters in the event of 2004-05-10 House Journal Page 4176 attacks, outbreaks of disease, or threats of attack or outbreak of disease; establishing the Alaska division of homeland security and emergency management in the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs and relating to the functions of that division and that department; and providing for an effective date." Representative Dahlstrom moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 385(RLS) am H be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 2. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2, which amends Amendment No. 1 (page 4074), was offered by Representative Dahlstrom: Under Sec 24.20.680(b): Delete "four to six" Insert "six to eight" Under Sec 24.20.680(b): Insert a new paragraph to read: "(1) the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives;" Renumber the paragraphs and internal references accordingly. Representative Dahlstrom moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. The question being: "Shall HCS CSSB 385(RLS) am H pass the House?"
